Winter Weather In the event of snow/ice or other weather prohibitive to driving, you can check WBZ 1030 AM radio or its website, WBZ Channel 4, WCVB Channel 5 and WHDH Channel 7 for cancellations or delays. There will also be a notice on the school’s answering machine. If the message is the usual school message, there is no cancellation or delay. Please bear in mind that the CAWS student and faculty community covers a 30 mile radius and runs along the North Shore coastline. Weather conditions within the area may vary greatly from town to town. Please check CAWS’s status if there are any school closings due to weather in the North Shore/Cape Ann area.
