Nursery In the nursery-aged child (2.9 -4.6 years) a new capacity emerges: the capacity for imaginative play. Activities such as painting, modeling, and baking are offered. With adult guidance, children play and work with care in an environment where materials are deeply respected. Through play, the children are encouraged to discover the world around them, and gradually to find their place within it.

Kindergarten
Kindergarten is a program for children ages 4.6-6.3 years. Designed to be a foundation for future academic development, the program features story telling, structured and unstructured play, and daily organized activities.
In Waldorf education, we understand children at this stage to be receiving the world entirely through their senses. We provide a rich sensory experience in which children can thrive and a creative play environment where their imaginations can soar. This nourishes their growing awareness in a safe and secure space, preparing them to move on to the academic content of the grades.
A 4-day or 5-day kindergarten program is
offered. Kindergarten is held from 8:10 - 12:00 pm.
