At the Cape Ann Waldorf School we make active efforts to restore, for both parents and children, a sense of wonder for the passing seasons. Our goal is to experience together Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer in all their glory, lifting us all toward the meaning of our human potential.

We celebrate several festivals in the course of the school year. Each festival reflects the mood of the season in which it falls. On these joyful occasions, we often invite families to participate with us or to come and witness the celebrations. The three festivals of the year that we celebrate outside regular class time are the Lantern Walk Festival during an evening in early November, the Spiral of Light on a Sunday afternoon in December, and the May Fair on a Saturday morning in May.
