Cape Ann Waldorf School Development Office builds relationships with parents, alumni, grandparents, friends, corporations, and the larger North Shore community. Through fundraising activities and social events throughout the year, the Development Office, with the help of parent volunteers, raises thousands of dollars to support our children’s Waldorf education.

$133,000 Raised for Tuition Assistance!

Our sincerest thanks to the Ibrahim El-Hefni Technical Training Foundation and our generous private donors who helped us raise $133,000 to help seed a new Tuition Assistance (TA) Fund for Cape Ann Waldorf School. Families really count on TA, and the money raised through this initiative will allow CAWS to fulfill its commitments of financial aid. The El-Hefni Technical Training Foundation provided CAWS with a 3-to-1 match to kick off the seeding of this fund as it believes in the importance of education and supports organizations like ours to ensure that all children, regardless of their financial background, have access to high quality educational opportunities. We are deeply grateful to the foundation as well as all of our donors who so generously gave to this essential fund.

Annual Fund Campaign

Every year the Development Office embarks on an Annual Fund Campaign, the largest fundraiser of the year. The Annual Fund Campaign appeals to parents, faculty and staff, alumni, and our extended community to contribute what they can in order to supplement the school’s operating budget. Approximately seventeen percent of the school’s income is generated from Annual Fund donations. Each year a goal is set and we encourage every family to give a donation, whatever the size.

You can make a donation by credit card by calling the office at 978-927-8811. We encourage parents and friends who make donations to ask your employer about matching gift programs that can double your contribution. Many employers offer matching gift programs for non-profits. You may also consider asking grandparents, family members, or friends to match your gift to our school. Donations of stock are welcomed.
